Gary Armstrong - "What a Day"

Weather was great; fish were biting and we caught all we wanted!  I Love Kentucky Lake!

Wednesday, March 10, 2010

Today Eddie and I were both on the lake.  Water temp was 55-56 degrees.  Lake level was 354..7 and it was a windy/sunny day.  I took out Russell Wagner, Paducah and Eddie took out Gary Armstrong, Ohio.
Take a look at some of the fish we caught.

We had another good day on the lake. Weather was great and fishinig was good. Lake level today was 354.8 and water is stained. Water temperature has averaged around 48 to 50 degrees. The two guys above are the same ones I took out yesterday. Today, Larry caught a nice bass and agreed to having his picture taken. George also caught. See you on the lake.

Eddie with the Beavins men!

This past year I lost my favorite fishing partner. Dad passed in January and he always helped me with our "family" business. Now I have Eddie Evans, a longtime friend that is helping me and he was out on the water yesterday with same results as I had. They were bass fishing (however Grant (the son) caught a nice crappie. Here are their pix for the day.

George From Indiana - 3/7/2010

I took a couple of guys out from Indiana - George and Larry. George is who you see in the picture. We caught fish all day - water was 42 degrees starting out - went up to around 45. Water was stained. Another great day on the Lake!

March 6, 2010

Water temperature was @ 43 degrees. Fishing with Harold Knight we caught right @ 16 lbs. - strictly bass fishing. We caught on jerk baits on the points and had quite a bit of luck. Eddie Evans, my guide partner had a party out fishing for crappie and yellow bass. They were catching them on hair jigs in about 8-10 foot of water.
